End of the year wrap up

So, we have been going to Busch Gardens every other weekend and the kids love it!

The school year is about over for us, Aidan will be in 2nd grade next year (wow) and Georgia will be going to prek4. Kara will probably go to a mother's day out in the fall.

This summer we will try to stay busy by going to Busch Gardens, local parks and the movies every week and will also head to Covington the 1st week of July. Aidan and Georgia will stay the 2nd week of July with Maw maw and Paw Paw.

I have been pretty busy with my intern for Catholic Charities, and am really loving it. I will finish up at the end of June and will also take one other class the month of June. I made straights for my first semester back in school and am really excited. Adam has been really busy at work and travels every 4-5 weeks. He is off this week and I will take advantage of that by having a spa day to celebrate mother's day and few weeks late, but so worth the wait.

Ballet Recital

Georgia had her end of the year Ballet/Gymnastics Recital on Thursday. Adam actually was able to make it to this one. She was so excited to see us and she was too adorable. She kept saying "I am so good at this," she does not have any problems with being too modest!

Easter and Busch Gardens

This Easter Maw-maw Pam, Paw-paw Ronnie and Aunt Patty came to visit. They had lots of fun spoiling the kids, and the kids had lots of fun getting spoiled.

Also we bought season passes to Busch Gardens and have been 3 times so far. The kids love it, we go for about 2-3 hours every two weeks, just enough time to wear everyone out a little bit, but not too much time to make everyone cranky. Aidan can ride all of the rides except three and Adam likes having someone to ride with that isn't a fraidy cate (me). Georgia and Kara can ride a bunch of kiddy rides, which is more my speed, but Kara hates getting off the rides, she is a thrill seeker!

Girl's Day Out, Tooth Fairy and Mississippi Mud Pie

So school is kicking my behind, but I know it is not an excuse not to update the blog. So here it is moma!
Georgia and I enjoyed our first official girls' only day. We had haircuts and she got her nails painted and then we went to lunch. she loved the beauty salon and everyone loved her. As we were walking back to the car she asked everyone who passed by if they were going to the salon too!
Aidan lost his first tooth. And according to my mom and sister we should have given him $10 for it, He got $4. He quickly lost another one and earned another $2. Of course maw mawpam is sending him $10 in the mail.
Oh, maid Mississippi Mud Pie and everyone loved it, especially KARA!

An almost White Christmas

Yes, I am wearing a hooters t-shirt!

Looking great in the their Christmas outfits, before we went to church and everyone not so happy anymore.

Christmas program

The Christmas tree before Kara took all of the ornaments off

Of course we got tons of snow the day after Christmas, but the kids loved it anyway. Here are some pics of Christmas, snow and Georgia's first Christmas program.
I am back in school, working on counseling license, so say a prayer for me that I pass and don't go crazy myself in the process!

D.C. Trip

Georgia misses Car-Car
Everybody headed to the park

Dinosaurs!

We are such city girls!

Shannon, Josie, Aidan and Spencer

The Price family has finally ventured to D.C., I know we have been in the area over a year, but we've never managed to get there. We spent the weekend with our friend's the Baldwins (they have 3 kiddos too). We had a blast and Georgia and Aidan miss Car-Car and Spencer loads, and little Josie too.

We took it easy and just went to the Museum of Natural History, all of the kids loved and it, and all of the adults were pretty exhausted afterwards. Riding the metro was a highlight. Us parents all took turns watching each others kids, Aidan seemed to really like holding Shannon's hand a lot and Spencer (the Baldwins oldest), seemed to like holding my hand.We also hung out in the park Sunday morning before we went back home. It was pretty funny that both Adam and I felt it was the easiest trip we have ever been on (at least with kids) because we didn't have to worry about our kids destroying anything or terrorizing anyone, it is so nice to stay with friends with 3 kids too!'
