Santa Maw-maw

Last night Aidan and I talked about what we wanted for Christmas and how he was going to write a letter to Santa, here is how he said the letter would go, "Dear Santa Maw-maw, Thank you for all of my Thomas engines. I need a lot more engines!" So, apparently Aidan has decided that my mom, maw-maw Pam, must be Santa because she is always sending him presents. If he gets on the phone with her and asks for an engine he knows that in about a week, maw-maw will be sending it to him, and that isn't even counting all of the stuff she has bought him and Georgia and Kara when she is here.

We also talked about who or what we loved. He said that he loved "engines," Georgia loved "ponies" (her god parents Jaime and Theo just sent her my little ponies, and Kara loved "bikes" (not sure why a bike but he is only 5. I asked him who I loved and he said "me" and then I asked him who daddy loved and he said "you." Smart boy!

Oh and little something special, I said that his maw-maw was my momma and he told me that "my Hailee and Emma, are my Hailee and Emma," we can't wait to see our cousins, Aunt Meri, Uncle Jim and of course Maw-maw and Paw-paw for Thanksgiving.

The Great Soup Incident of 09'

Georgia's new favorite thing to eat is soup, seriously this girl will eat almost anything. It is a relief, since Aidan won't eat much. Not too much going on with us, just getting ready for Halloween, and trying to get as much done around the house since daddy is home this week and will be gone again next week.
Hope you enjoy to pic of me and Kara, we are looking rough (I am going for a much needed haircut on Friday, and Adam didn't tell me she had milk coming out of her nose when he took the picture of her), she is adorable of course anyway. Kara goes to the cardiologist on Monday, right now our big concern is getting her a medecine to boost her immune system against RSV, so please pray she is approved, also working on getting everyone flu shots.

Kara Update

This morning Kara went in for her Oxygen pulse sat, she is still doing very good, it was around 91-92. Her color is good and she is gaining weight well. She is a little stuffed up again, I think from the changing weather and having to run the heater, but other than that she is doing great.

We miss Daddy!

Kara's outfit for 3 months pictures

Popcorn is great to keep kids busy, not so good to clean up later.

One of our many fits since daddy has been gone.

All kids need to be happy, a tupperware container, blanket and each other.

Floor time with baby sis!

So far Adam has been gone 5 days and we have experienced 2 soccer games (one it drizzled the whole time, the other Aidan through a fit), dog having diarrhea, 3 months pictures at Sears, a rainy day playdate, a trip to Target, a baby with a snuffy nose, church with all 3 kids for the first time by myself, and an adventure (Aidan's word) at the Virginia Living Museum. Not to mention about 2o fits, 10 time outs, a million "stop doing that," "don't touch your sister," "she is just a baby be gentle," and my favorite "just wait until I tell your daddy" (doesn't work well when he doesn't come home every night. I have made it through by consuming a lot of pumpkin spice lattes (Thank you Starbucks), some chocolate (for me and the kids), letting them watch a little bit more tv then usual, playing tickle monster, reading a lot of books (to the kids and for myself), and take very hot bathes, and getting all of their kisses and hugs!
Can't wait for daddy to come home, so I can take a nap and have a glass of wine!

The Bald Spot

Kara was our first baby with a bald spot, and literally looks like we shaved a spot of hair off of her hair, poor baby. Hopefully it will thicken up soon like Aidan's and Georgia's.

My favorite way to spend the weekend

Georgia's America's Next Top Model audition shot!
Is that Kara or Elvis?

Very smooth looking Aidan.

Maw maw Pam bought her this adorable outfit, she loves her "monkey shirt."

Georgia kept calling it "daddy's bridge," so only daddy could help her across it.

The Price family had a wonderful weekend. Friday evening we babysat for some friends so the kids got play together, they had lots of friends. I have learned that 3 is enough! Saturday morning Aidan had a soccer game and he did a lot better, it started raining at the end of the game and actually played better in the rain. Then we all went home to rest, love nap time! Saturday night Adam and I went to dinner by ourselves, first date since Kara was born, the friends we babysat for on Friday, babysat for us on Saturday, love babysitting swaps! The restaurant was really good, we were there for 2 and half hours, just taking our time and enjoying being with each other, love date night! Today we went to church, the kids were pretty good, love getting recharged spiritually. Then had nap time, did I mention that I love nap time! Went to park and then got ice cream, love Oreo overload from cold stone! Now Adam is giving Georgia a bath, Kara is sleeping and Aidan is enjoying a little sponge bob before his bath and bed time, love my family! I am one lucky lady!
Oh and did I mention it was a lovely 65 degrees!

The Yellow Dress

Kara 2 months
Georgia not quite a month old
This yellow dress belonged to my moma and so did the shoes Georgia has on, also Kara's shoes too, but you can't see them. I also wore this dress, but can't find a picture of me in it. I just love the fact the we could all share this and hopefully one day my granddaughter will get to wear it too!

Kara Update

The above picture shows her sleeping under the beautiful quilt her Grandma Potter made her, Adam's grandma.

Kara had her two week check up today. She was wide awake and in a feisty mood. She actually used her right foot to kick the oxygen pulse band off her left big toe. After a couple of attempts that way the nurse finally put it around her whole left foot, I was waiting for her to reach down and remove with her hand, but she didn't. Her oxygen pulse peaked at 95, but was consistently 90-93, so still very high. Her weight is still doing well, she is on the 50% for height and weight.

Costume shopping

We went shopping for Halloween costumes yesterday. Aidan has said he wanted to be Thomas for about a month now, so of course when we got to Target, he picked out...Spiderman? Oh well, 5 year olds do change their minds. Georgia wanted the fairy princess, and she had to hold it, so of course we lost part of it somewhere in the store and they didn't have another one so I had to order it online. Kara really loved the unicorn, well I did anyway, she will be adorable in anything though.

The Pajama Game

With our paw paw and cousins Hailee and Emma when Aidan was 6 months

Sisters just hanging out together.

Is that a fort or just a table? Big brothers always know the fun stuff to do.

Before he was out numbered.

We love the weekends in our pjs, unfortunately this weekend we probably won't have a lot of time for pj lounging, so I wanted to post some pics of some of our fav pj moments.
